By purchasing a ticket and checking the box indicating that I agree to this waiver, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the following:

EMAIL & NEWSLETTER PERMISSION

By providing my email address when registering for a Lightheart Living event or wellness experience, I give permission for Melody Germain / Lightheart Living to add my email address to the Lightheart Living newsletter and email list. I understand that I may receive occasional emails about upcoming sound baths, wellness experiences, classes, special events, collaborations, and other offerings from Lightheart Living.

I understand that I may unsubscribe from these emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link provided in the emails.

WELLNESS EXPERIENCE PARTICIPATION

I understand that Lightheart Living wellness experiences may include, but are not limited to, sound baths, vibrational sound healing, meditation, yoga or gentle movement, aromatherapy, hands-on or distance Reiki/energy healing, massage or self-massage techniques, musical instruments, guided relaxation, and other wellness practices. Special guest practitioners may also provide services or experiences as part of certain events.

Some experiences may also include the preparation or consumption of La La Land Organics ceremonial cacao or other food and beverage offerings. I am responsible for informing Melody Germain, the facilitator, or any participating practitioner of any allergies, sensitivities, dietary restrictions, injuries, physical limitations, or other concerns that may affect my participation before engaging in any activity or consuming any food or beverage.

NATURE OF THE EXPERIENCE

I understand that Lightheart Living wellness experiences are intended for relaxation, personal wellness, education, and enjoyment. They are not a substitute for medical care, therapy, counseling, diagnosis, or other professional healthcare services.

I am responsible for determining whether participation is appropriate for me and for consulting with an appropriate healthcare professional regarding any personal medical or physical concerns.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK & RELEASE

I understand that participation in wellness experiences and being on the Lightheart Living studio premises may involve ordinary and unforeseen risks, including but not limited to slips, trips, falls, physical discomfort, sensitivity to sound or vibration, movement-related discomfort, reactions to aromatherapy or cacao, allergic reactions, physical contact during hands-on practices, or other circumstances associated with participating in wellness activities.

I voluntarily assume these risks and agree to release and hold harmless Lightheart Living and Melody Germain, as well as participating practitioners and special guests, from claims for injury, loss, or damage arising from my participation, to the fullest extent permitted by North Carolina law, including claims based on ordinary negligence.

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY & CHOICE

I agree to follow reasonable safety instructions provided by Melody Germain, Lightheart Living, or participating practitioners.

I agree to immediately notify the facilitator or practitioner if I feel uncomfortable, unwell, experience pain or distress, or need assistance.

I understand that participation in any individual activity or offering is voluntary and that I may choose not to participate in, or may discontinue, any activity at any time.

ELECTRONIC AGREEMENT

By checking the box below and completing my purchase, I confirm that I have had the opportunity to read this waiver, understand its terms, and voluntarily agree to all of the provisions above.
